Krishna Chattopadhyay, PhD

​I, Dr. Krishna Chattopadhyay, am a Women Scientist at the Department of Chemistry, University of Calcutta. I earned my MSc degree in Chemistry from Burdwan University in 2012 and qualified for NET, GATE, and SET in the same year. I obtained my PhD under the supervision of Prof. Debashis Ray from IIT Kharagpur in 2017. Following this, I joined IACS, Kolkata, as a post-doctoral fellow under the mentorship of Prof. Tapan Kanti Pain through the SERB-NPDF scheme (2017-19). Subsequently, I worked with Prof. Dilip Kr. Maiti's research group as a Research Associate at the University of Calcutta (2020-23). My research interests primarily focus on inorganic materials chemistry.
